My way...
Born in Lagos, Algarve, Portugal, in 1990, I grew up in a family that faced many challenges. It was not an easy time, but it shaped me and made me strong.
After a difficult period, we found refuge in the Netherlands, where I was able to get to know a new culture and language. These experiences taught me from an early age how to deal with new situations and always make the best of them.
Later, I moved to Luxembourg, where I was faced with the challenge of completing school in a new language. This time showed me how important it is to keep developing and never give up, no matter how big the hurdles seem.
Back in Portugal, we tried to start a new life, but the challenges remained. At 15, I started working in the catering industry before moving to Lisbon at 17 to start training as a beauty masseuse.
At the age of 18, I decided to drop out of school and focus fully on work. But the journey took me back to the catering industry, where I felt more secure.
In 2012 I met my husband and shortly afterwards I started my training as an eyelash stylist. This time was challenging, but it gave me the experience and maturity that I incorporate into my work today.
In 2015, I decided to move to Germany with the support of my father. I continued working in the hospitality industry until I started my apprenticeship in eyelash extensions in 2019. This allowed me more flexibility to pursue a career while being there for my family.
Despite the challenges and uncertainties that came with living in a new country, I became a mother again in 2020. The responsibilities grew, but I eventually found my way back into the beauty field and started working in a salon in 2022. I left the hospitality industry to spend more time with my family and pursue my professional dream.
Today, in 2024, I have overcome my insecurities and am passionate about passing on my knowledge in training courses. Every hurdle has made me stronger and paved the way for me to do what I love. With new skills and constant learning, I do everything I can to offer my customers the best.
